St Mungos Parish Church-Festival of Lights:
Following on from last weeks successful festival of lights. The church is still open for you to pop in and see nearly 30 decorated xmas trees. This weekend coming 14th December there is Soup & Sandwich lunch and afternoon tea. Tickets are available at the Church.
We are currently on the lookout for support workers for both full time and part time hours. Hours to include evening & weekends. Full details on our recruitment page.
From MONDAY 18th November until Friday 22nd of November our office will be undergoing essential internal repairs. This will mean limited access to the hallway, stair and rear of the building. We would ask that both our support workers and service users keep visists to the office to emergencies only during this time as workmen will be in the area for the week. We can still be contacted by telephone. Sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding in this matter.
Winter working policy:
Well its that time of year again and the winter seems to have sneeked up on us. As usual for this time of year we have informed all our service users of the implementation of our "winter working policy". This will run all through the winter until we see the first signs of Spring approaching next year. Remember to look out for those who live alone. Give them a little chap at the door and see if they need anything...even a wee chat.
