Festival of lights:
IKL Care will again this year be supporting St Mungos Parish Church Alloa's festival of lights. The event takes place from 27th November where you can pop into the Church and see all the lovelly sponsored trees all lit up and make use of the Churches excellant community cafe.
Following guideance from the authorities, all social service support workers will be encouraged to take up the offer of free Flu vaccinations this year. We have issued all our support workers with letters of proof of their employment as a front line worker allowing them access to the free vaccination.
Now that the cold weather has set in, please spare a thought for anyone who is living alone. If possible, have a check in or catch up with a neighbour, friend or relative who might be living alone. Make sure their ok even if its just a wee chat to let them know they are not alone, especially during this difficult time.
Winter working protocol:
Unfortunately its that time of year again where the weather is turning colder as we slip into Winter. All our service users have been reissued with our Winter working policy outlining what happens in cases of extreme or prolonged periods of bad weather.
Wearing of face masks:
Please note that as of Monday 21.09.2020 we will be reinstating that ALL VISITORS to the office will be required to wear a face covering. If you are in any doubt as to wearing a face covering then please call ahead and we will advise

Restricted office access:
Please note that from Monday 10th Aug till Friday 14th Aug there will be restricted access to the office due to internal repairs. If you require a visit to the office please phone ahead and arrange.

Shops and businesses in Alloa town centre are geraing up for re-opening once lockdown restrictions are eased in the coming weeks. Shops are looking at how they can open effectively whilst protecting both the customers and staff with effective use of PPE, distancing and cashless ayments.
